Skanska has signed a contract with Lower Silesian Road and Railway Authority to build a bypass in Wroclaw, Poland. The contract is worth PLN 214M, about SEK 560M, which will be included in the order bookings for Europe for the second quarter of 2025.
The new 3.6-kilometer provincial road No. 372 will link the A4 junction in Bielany Wrocławskie with Grota-Roweckiego Street. The project includes turbine roundabouts, a viaduct, a bridge, two footbridges, a semi-tunnel, and full technical infrastructure. It’s designed for heavy traffic and aims to improve safety, traffic flow, and reduce noise.
The investment will significantly enhance southern Wrocław’s transport system. Completing the Eastern Ring Road will improve district and suburban connectivity, ease access to the A4 motorway, and reduce local traffic.
Work will start in July 2025, and the completion is scheduled for end of 2027.
